Buffalo turbo pc download

I had the same issue no Buffalo software installed but it was because I had an old copy of the Buffalo TurboEX files extracted to a temporary folder on my C: drive. Deleted the folder then Upgrade could continue. After reading a few comments in this thread I decided to send the TurboPC folder to the recycle bin. I had uninstalled the program weeks before and couldn’t figure out why updating kept stalling.

Simply doing this solved the problem and I was able to update successfully. I can’t believe that Microsoft hasn’t been able to fix this on their end or at least provide this simple solution. Anyway, here’s where the folder was located on my laptop, hope this helps somebody. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. You need to help your clients. Beyond waiting weeks to check if we fixed your problem Digging into the error logs I finally found the location of the files the prerequisite checker complained about:.

My “Downloads” Folder, located on a different hard drive, contained the downloaded but not installed installation files of this Buffalo software, and these were found by the prerequisite checker. Ridiculous that the installer checks all the hard drives and complains about existing setup files that are not installed, without telling anything about the reasons for refusing to upgrade.

I can’t believe that Microsoft hasn’t been able to fix this on their end or at least provide this simple solution. Anyway, here’s where the folder was located on my laptop, hope this helps somebody. Digging into the error logs I finally found the location of the files the prerequisite checker complained about: My “Downloads” Folder, located on a different hard drive, contained the downloaded but not installed installation files of this Buffalo software, and these were found by the prerequisite checker. After removing these source Installation files the upgrade went smoothly. There is indeed some small space for improvement. Best wishes from Germany and thanks again to the community, Markus.

Follow the solution from Andre Da Costa. I was able to upgrade windows 10 due to this problem from Version to Version The prompt solution from the Microsoft team is appreciated.
